ElevenLabs CEO Mati Stan Chesky announced a $22 billion valuation and plans for a potential 2028 IPO as the company expands its AI voice tools.
ElevenLabs CEO Mati Stan Chesky announced that the voice AI company has achieved a revenue run rate of $600 million and a valuation of $22 billion. To support this growth, the company expanded its global workforce from 300 to more than 1,000 employees and established its headquarters in London.
The company is currently focusing on the interaction layer of AI by deploying conversational agents for enterprise clients, including Revolut and Trainline, to increase operational efficiency and improve customer experience. Chesky stated that the company is preparing its foundations for a potential initial public offering around 2028, though the immediate priority remains the development of its research and product ecosystem.
To address safety concerns, ElevenLabs implemented a framework that includes watermarking AI-generated content. The company also signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of the United Kingdom to collaborate on building safety frameworks for AI models.
