Dutch Bros Reports 32 Percent Growth in Second Quarter

Dutch Bros reported a 32 percent year-over-year increase in second-quarter net income and announced plans to expand to 7,000 locations.

Dutch Bros reported a 32 percent year-over-year increase in net income for the second quarter of 2026, reaching $51.6 million compared to $38.4 million in the previous year. The coffee shop chain achieved its eighth consecutive quarter of transaction growth, with same-store sales rising 5.8 percent.

Management plans to expand the company's current footprint of 1,225 locations across 25 U.S. states to a target of 7,000 stores over the coming years. The chain attributes its growth to a focus on customizable cold beverages, the popularization of boba, and the introduction of Myst, a low-calorie energy drink line.
