President Ilham Aliyev Receives New Omani Ambassador
President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of Oman's new ambassador to discuss expanding tourism partnerships and joint investment funds.
Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, received the credentials of Saif bin Rashid bin Saif Aljahwari, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to Azerbaijan, on July 17.
The two leaders discussed the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between their nations and the impact of Leyla Aliyeva's recent visit to Oman. Their conversation focused on strengthening bilateral partnerships, with specific emphasis on the tourism sector and the potential expansion of a joint investment fund.
Ambassador Aljahwari used the meeting to convey greetings and well-wishes from Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said to the Azerbaijani president.
