McDonald's Corporation Partners With Red Bull for First Energy Drink
McDonald's Corporation will launch the Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer and new Coca-Cola cold foam add-ons in the United States starting August 17.
McDonald's Corporation announced a partnership with Red Bull to introduce the Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer, the fast food chain's first energy drink. Launching in the United States on August 17, the beverage mixes Red Bull with blue raspberry syrup and freeze-dried dragonfruit, with a Red Bull Zero version available for customers seeking less sugar.
In addition to the energy drink, the company is introducing a Vanilla Swirl add-on for Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, and Coke Zero Sugar. This new option features a cold foam cap, aligning with the growing popularity of crafted drinks and dirty sodas among younger American consumers.
McDonald's USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Alyssa Buetikofer stated that the company has seen growing enthusiasm for crafted sodas and refreshers. These menu expansions are being implemented alongside a simplified McValue menu as the company seeks to attract and retain customers.
