Meta Launches Muse for Small Business AI Agent
Meta Platforms Inc. released Muse for Small Business to integrate AI agents with third-party enterprise software and diversify revenue beyond digital advertising.
Meta Platforms Inc. launched Muse for Small Business on Tuesday, marking a strategic expansion of its artificial intelligence services into the enterprise market. The AI agent integrates with Meta's own ad accounts and professional profiles, as well as third-party software including Asana, Zoom, Intuit, Box, Canva, and Salesforce's Slack.
This rollout follows the September 8 release of the consumer Muse app and a Monday announcement regarding a new enterprise platform led by former MongoDB CEO CJ Desai. The company aims to leverage its existing network of 200 million small businesses on Facebook to compete directly with OpenAI and Anthropic in the business sector.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg has positioned Muse as the centerpiece of a broader AI strategy intended to diversify company revenue streams beyond digital advertising. The development of the Muse Spark family of models is led by Scale AI founder Alexandr Wang.
