Israeli Forces and Settlers Conduct Raids Across West Bank

Israeli forces and settlers conducted multiple raids across the West Bank, injuring at least 11 Palestinians and seizing homes in Tal.

The Military of Israel and settlers carried out a series of violent incursions across the occupied West Bank between July 30 and July 31, 2026. In Nablus, soldiers shot a 59-year-old Palestinian man in the neck after opening fire on his vehicle in Beita and conducted a raid in Beit Furik using live ammunition and tear gas. These operations expanded on July 31, with raids in the Junaid neighborhood of Nablus and the town of Tal that injured at least 11 Palestinians, including four children.

In the town of Tal, Israeli forces seized four Palestinian homes to establish military barracks. Settlers also entered the area, calling for retaliatory marches following the deaths of two Israelis in a previous attack. Reports from the raids included the vandalization of a Palestinian cemetery and a separate incident where a Palestinian was shot in the stomach.

Israeli forces conducted further arrests across Bethlehem, Salem, and the Qaddura refugee camp in Ramallah. Regarding the incursions, the military stated that "Israeli civilians had entered Area A of the occupied West Bank, which is prohibited under Israeli law."
