Qatar and North Macedonia Hold Diplomatic Trade Talks in Doha

North Macedonia's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timčo Mucunski, visited Doha over two days to strengthen bilateral ties with Qatar. The diplomatic mission focused on expanding cooperation across political and economic sectors.

On July 5, 2026, Mucunski met with Qatar's Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani. The two officials discussed general bilateral cooperation relations and explored methods to support and develop these ties.

The mission continued on July 6, 2026, with a meeting between Mucunski and Qatar's Minister of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani. This session focused specifically on reviewing existing cooperation in trade, investment, and industry, with both ministers seeking ways to enhance relations to further the mutual interests of their respective nations.
