Samsung Launches Entry-Level Galaxy Book6 AI Laptop

Samsung Electronics released the Galaxy Book6, a 14-inch AI-capable laptop starting at $799 designed for students and everyday computing.

Samsung Electronics launched the Galaxy Book6, a 14-inch entry-level laptop designed to make AI PCs more accessible to students and general users. Starting at $799, the device utilizes Intel Core Series 3 processors based on the Wildcat Lake architecture. While these processors use the same Intel 18A process node as flagship models, they employ a simpler packaging design and fewer cores to reduce costs.

The laptop features a 16:10 WUXGA anti-reflective display and a 61.2Wh battery that Samsung claims provides up to 25 hours of life. To maintain the lower price point, the base configuration includes 8GB of soldered memory and a 256GB SSD, though users can upgrade to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The device weighs 1.35kg and is available in Gray and Violet Silver.

Despite its entry-level positioning, the Galaxy Book6 retains NPU support for Galaxy AI tools, including Note Assist, AI Select, and AI Cut Out. It also integrates ecosystem features such as Multi Control and Quick Share. The laptop is already available in the UK and Spain, and will launch in the United States via Amazon and Samsung.com on October 5, 2026.
