Israeli Forces Shell Southern Lebanon Residential Areas
Israeli forces conducted air strikes and phosphorus shelling across southern Lebanon, causing widespread destruction to residential buildings in several towns.
The Military of Israel conducted a series of air strikes, heavy artillery attacks, and phosphorus shelling across southern Lebanon on Saturday and Sunday. The operations targeted multiple locations, including the town of Mansouri, the outskirts of Majdal Zoun, and the area around Bayt al-Sayyad.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the attacks caused extensive damage to residential infrastructure. In Bayt al-Sayyad, the agency reported that no house remained undamaged. Additional explosions and machine-gun fire were recorded in Hadatha, Beit Yahoun, and Aita al-Jabal, with fire directed toward nearby valleys.
Israeli drones maintained a constant presence over villages and towns throughout the western and central sectors of southern Lebanon for the duration of the operations.
