Miniso Ranked Fastest-Growing U.S. Retailer by National Retail Federation

Miniso achieved 53% sales growth in the U.S. to lead the National Retail Federation's Hot 25 list of fastest-growing domestic retailers.

Miniso, a Chinese lifestyle brand, ranks as the fastest-growing U.S. retailer according to the National Retail Federation. The company generated $466 million in domestic revenue, representing approximately 53% sales growth.

The National Retail Federation's Hot 25 list, compiled by research firm Kantar, prioritizes annual domestic sales growth momentum over total market size. This methodology explains why expanding firms outrank larger corporations like Amazon and Walmart. Dick's Sporting Goods placed second with 49% growth, while Costco ranked 18th with 8% growth.

Miniso's expansion is driven by affordable product pricing, viral blind boxes, and discovery-driven shopping experiences. The brand also leveraged partnerships with intellectual properties including Minecraft and My Little Pony to attract customers. The company was taken public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2020 by founder and CEO Ye Guofu.
