Marks & Spencer Partners With Sephora for Beauty Expansion
Marks & Spencer will launch Sephora-branded beauty departments in 100 stores by spring 2027 to attract younger shoppers and expand Sephora's UK presence.
Marks & Spencer signed a strategic partnership with Sephora to launch Sephora at M&S, a new beauty destination scheduled to open in spring 2027. The agreement will establish Sephora-branded beauty departments, staffed by Sephora employees, across 100 M&S stores and integrate the offering into the retailer's website.
These new sections will replace existing M&S branded product areas, although the retailer will continue to sell its own-label beauty lines. The move is a component of a £700 million transformation plan to modernize supply chains and revitalize stores, specifically targeting women aged 24 to 36.
For Sephora, owned by LVMH, the shop-in-shop model provides a scalable growth strategy to expand its UK footprint beyond its 18 standalone stores. The partnership is intended to increase competition for specialist health and beauty chains such as Boots and Superdrug.
