Cockroach Janta Party Accuses BJP of Blocking Delhi Meeting

Abhijeet Dipke claims the BJP intimidated Delhi venue owners to prevent a Cockroach Janta Party volunteers' meeting from taking place.

Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), alleged on Wednesday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) intimidated venue owners in Delhi to prevent his party from holding a volunteers' meeting. Dipke claimed that at least 10 venues refused space and a banquet hall in Naraina revoked a confirmed booking at the last minute due to pressure from above.

Dipke specifically alleged that hall owners were threatened they would be hung upside down if they allowed the CJP to meet. He stated these actions reveal that the BJP is afraid of the country's youth and asserted that such petty actions would not frighten the party.

In response to the interference, Dipke announced that a second phase of protests at Jantar Mantar will begin soon. The CJP recently gained prominence after leading a 36-day protest over NEET paper leaks that resulted in the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Co-convener Ashutosh Ranka also criticized the BJP in relation to the party's upcoming School Thik Karo campaign.
