Israeli Strikes Kill 11 People in Gaza During Cease-fire

The Israeli military conducted strikes across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, killing at least 11 people during an active cease-fire. The casualties included a family of five—two parents and three children—who died when a missile hit a residential apartment in northwest Gaza City. An Israeli military spokeswoman stated the specific strike targeted a Hamas member.

Other attacks included an airstrike in the Zeitoun neighborhood that killed three people and artillery shelling east of Zeitoun that killed a woman at a tent for displaced people. Health officials reported two additional deaths from other separate attacks.

The Israeli military reported its own losses during the same period, stating that five soldiers and one civilian contractor were killed.
