UAE President and Oman Sultan Discuss Regional Security
President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq met in Abu Dhabi to strengthen economic ties and regional security cooperation.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, hosted Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman in Abu Dhabi on Monday for bilateral talks focused on regional stability and economic growth. The leaders discussed deepening cooperation in developmental fields to support shared priorities and the wellbeing of their respective citizens.
During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on current developments in the Middle East. They emphasized the necessity of continued consultation and stronger partnerships to safeguard peace and security across the region. Sultan Haitham arrived at the Presidential Airport accompanied by a delegation of senior Omani officials, including Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq and Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham.
High-ranking UAE officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and First Deputy Ruler of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, attended the discussions.
