Crypto and Stocks Rally as U.S. Pauses Iran Strikes

Cryptocurrencies and U.S. stock futures rallied after the United States and Iran paused hostilities following a 13-day period of U.S. attacks.

Major cryptocurrencies and U.S. stock futures rose on Sunday following a pause in hostilities between the United States and Iran. Both nations ceased strikes starting Friday night, ending a 13-day window of U.S. attacks, although the United States continues to maintain a naval blockade of Iranian ports.

Bitcoin climbed to $65,500, while Ethereum reached an intraday high of $1,960 before retreating. Market analysts responded to the de-escalation with bullish projections. Michaël van de Poppe stated that the market bottom is likely in and predicted that the Ethereum ecosystem and altcoins will outperform Bitcoin.

Technical analyst Jesse Olson also indicated a bullish outlook, utilizing a custom Rainbow Moving Average indicator to identify a bottom signal for the cryptocurrency market.
