Gold prices in Pakistan fell by Rs12,800 per tola on Monday as the Pakistan Stock Exchange also recorded a decline.

Gold prices in Pakistan fell significantly on Monday, with the price of one tola dropping by Rs12,800 to reach Rs438,136. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 10 grams of gold decreased to Rs375,631. This domestic trend mirrored a decline in the international market, where gold fell by $128 to $4,156 per ounce. Silver prices also dropped by Rs325 per tola to Rs6,578.

Simultaneously, the Pakistan Stock Exchange saw the KSE-100 Index drop 224.81 points, or 0.13%, closing at 170,540.41. Market analysts attribute these fluctuations to shifts in the value of the US dollar, international bullion rates, geopolitical tensions, and general global economic uncertainty.
