Pankaj Chaudhary Backs Yogi Adityanath for 2027 UP Elections
Union Minister Pankaj Chaudhary asserts Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will win any seat in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections as political parties begin preparations.
Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary expressed confidence that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath would win from any constituency in the state during the 2027 Assembly elections. Chaudhary expects the voting to occur between February and March 2027, defending the NDA government's constitutional amendments, including the abrogation of Article 370 and the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam.
Political activity is intensifying across Uttar Pradesh as the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Samajwadi Party prepare for the contest. The Samajwadi Party announced it will release its Jan-Man Manifesto, titled the Resolve of Twenty-Seven, on November 26 to coincide with Constitution Day. Simultaneously, the Indian National Congress is reportedly seeking 200 seats in seat-sharing discussions with the Samajwadi Party.
Addressing local controversies, Chaudhary noted that the government took immediate action regarding donation irregularities at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He stated that the government jailed those responsible and appointed a new CEO to manage the site.
