BJP Accuses AISA President Neha Bora of Spreading Hindu Hate

The Bharatiya Janata Party and other leaders condemned AISA president Neha Bora after she claimed temple priests commit rape and criticized the Brahmanical system.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and several political leaders have condemned Neha Bora, president of the All India Students' Association (AISA), following the circulation of a video in which she criticized the Brahmanical system. Bora claimed that temple priests commit rape and that even Brahmin women are unsafe within temple premises, arguing that protection is required from the Brahmanical system itself.

BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari labeled Bora a "poster girl" for Rahul Gandhi, alleging her remarks were inspired by the Congress leader and reflect a pattern of anti-Hindu sentiment. Other BJP leaders, including RP Singh and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, alleged that Bora is part of a coordinated effort to undermine democratic institutions and attack the Sanatan tradition. Union Minister Chirag Paswan compared Bora's rhetoric to the British "divide and rule" policy, while Yamuna Pathak of the Vishva Hindu Raksha Parishad questioned Bora's authority to portray the Brahmin community as a threat to women.

Opposition figures also distanced themselves from the remarks. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Priyanka Chaturvedi described the statements as "deeply unfortunate" and harmful to the nation. The controversy emerged while Bora was supporting an impeachment resolution against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar amid protests over alleged electoral roll irregularities that the opposition claims disenfranchised 13 crore Indians.
