The Government of Saudi Arabia provided a budget support grant exceeding 224 million riyals to the Yemeni government to strengthen fiscal policy and economic stability. Delivered via the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, the funding addresses urgent financial needs and counters the impact of Houthi militia attacks on Yemeni resources.
During the same period, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman delivered the annual Royal Address to the Shura Council. He reaffirmed the kingdom's commitment to regional security and stated that Saudi Arabia would respond firmly to any threats. He also announced that 2026 is designated as the Year of Artificial Intelligence and noted that Vision 2030 has achieved 93% of its targets over the last decade.
In his address, the Crown Prince condemned Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip and reaffirmed support for the right of the Palestinian people to an independent state.
