Cloud Security Firms Launch AI Agent Governance Tools
Skyhawk Security and Snowflake announced new integrations with AWS, 1Password, and Aembit to secure autonomous AI agents and prioritize weaponized cloud vulnerabilities.
Two major security initiatives launched on July 28, 2026, to address the risks associated with autonomous AI agents in enterprise environments. Skyhawk Security integrated its AI Red Team simulations with AWS Continuum to combat AI-powered cloud attacks. By utilizing digital twins of customer environments and telemetry from Amazon GuardDuty, Inspector, and Macie, the system identifies the small percentage of vulnerabilities that are actually weaponizable, allowing security teams to prioritize remediation based on true exposure.
Simultaneously, Snowflake introduced security integrations with 1Password and Aembit to manage identity risks for third-party AI agents. These collaborations create a governance framework for the agentic enterprise, enabling companies to audit autonomous agents as they access sensitive data. The 1Password integration, arriving in late 2026, allows for delegated access without exposing raw credentials, while Aembit provides identity and access management controls to track which agents are acting on behalf of specific users.
These developments reflect a shift toward securing agentic workflows. Skyhawk CEO Chen Burshan noted that frontier models are discovering vulnerabilities faster than teams can fix them, making weaponization the primary signal for security priority. Snowflake leadership emphasized that securing these autonomous systems requires a new model of trust and visibility.
