King Salman Condemns Houthi Attempts to Target Makkah

King Salman condemned repeated attempts by the Houthi militia to target Makkah during a Council of Ministers session in Jeddah on September 23. He stated that the actions constitute a "heinous crime, which violates the sanctity of the holy sites, provokes the sentiments of Muslims worldwide." The King also praised military and security personnel for their efforts in defending the homeland and the holy sites.

During the session, the Cabinet reviewed diplomatic activities, including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to Egypt and communications with the leaders of France and Jordan concerning maritime safety and regional stability. The Council approved the establishment of a strategic partnership council with Spain and signed cooperation agreements with Panama and Suriname.

Additionally, the government noted the unveiling of the first vehicle models from Ceer, the national automotive company established under the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative.
