Adeleke and Oyetola Launch Tinubu Re-election Campaign in Osun
Governor Ademola Adeleke and Minister Adegboyega Oyetola inaugurated 30 campaign vehicles to mobilize up to 2 million votes for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 bid.
Governor Ademola Adeleke and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy Adegboyega Oyetola joined forces in Osogbo on October 31, 2026, to launch a campaign for President Bola Tinubu's 2027 re-election. The event featured the inauguration of 30 campaign vehicles donated by Government Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, through the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement.
The initiative establishes a rainbow coalition between the Accord Party and the All Progressives Congress. Leaders of the alliance set a mobilization target of between 1.5 million and 2 million votes within Osun State. Adeleke specified that this partnership applies exclusively to the presidential race, noting that coalition partners will still campaign for their own candidates in Senate, House of Representatives, and House of Assembly elections.
Despite the public alliance, reports indicate a continued personal distance between Adeleke and Oyetola, highlighted by Oyetola's absence from a recent Presidential Campaign Council inauguration. National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress Ajibola Basiru urged voters to support the President's second term as a reward for federal projects.
