HCLTech Launches AI-Powered Vehicle Software Validation Tool
HCLTech launched a verification and validation solution powered by NVIDIA technology to accelerate software testing for software-defined vehicles using AI and simulation.
HCLTech launched HCLTech Verification and Validation (V&V) for Auto, an AI-powered solution designed to accelerate the validation of software-defined vehicles. The system integrates HCLTech's automotive engineering and agentic AI capabilities with the NVIDIA technology stack, including NVIDIA Omniverse, Cosmos, and Isaac Sim.
By utilizing a simulation-first operating model, the solution automates validation workflows and generates virtual scenarios to test rare and safety-critical conditions. This approach reduces the industry's reliance on physical testing and employs the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit and Nemotron open models to orchestrate AI agents across the validation lifecycle.
The initiative aims to resolve bottlenecks caused by fragmented tool chains and manual compliance processes. Pankaj Tagra, Chief Growth Officer and Global Head of Mobility at HCLTech, stated that the solution helps organizations shift from labor-intensive testing to continuous, intelligent validation. Sebastian Scheurle, EMEA Industry Lead Automotive Enterprise at NVIDIA, noted that simulation and AI capabilities allow automakers to cover safety-critical scenarios earlier and release software with greater confidence.
