Jay Clayton, the US Director of National Intelligence and leader of the Super Intelligence Force, is traveling to Silicon Valley to meet with prominent artificial intelligence executives. This tour marks his first set of engagements with industry leaders since taking command of the new federal group responsible for coordinating the United States government's approach to AI.
Clayton is scheduled to hold meetings with Jensen Huang of Nvidia, Sam Altman of OpenAI, Dario Amodei of Anthropic, and Mark Zuckerberg of Meta Platforms. The discussions aim to establish a direct line of communication between the federal government and the primary developers of advanced AI systems.
