Kingspan Group plc Acquires BMC Manufacturing Group for 900 Million Euros

Kingspan Group plc, the Cavan-based building materials group, announced the acquisition of BMC Manufacturing Group for a total potential value of 900 million euros. The deal consists of an initial 850 million euro payment, split between 600 million euros in cash and 250 million euros in new shares, with a further 50 million euros in deferred consideration tied to profit targets.

BMC Manufacturing Group specializes in low-voltage switchgear and critical power-management solutions for the data-center industry. Kingspan Group plc will integrate the company into its Advnsys unit to expand its converged power, cooling, and containment offerings. This move follows a recent decision by the group to pause a 650 million euro share buyback program to prioritize acquisition opportunities.

The transaction is expected to close in the final quarter of 2026. BMC's management team will remain with the company following the acquisition.
