DeepSeek Harness Reaches 1.54 Million Daily Active Users

DeepSeek, a Chinese AI startup based in Hangzhou, announced that its open-source agent application, DeepSeek Harness, reached 1.54 million daily active users by November 4. The platform has experienced rapid growth since its debut on August 13.

User adoption accelerated significantly following the release of a desktop version, with daily active users climbing from approximately 271,000 at the end of September to the current milestone. The company is leveraging open-source AI technologies to challenge industry rivals Anthropic PBC and OpenAI in the agent infrastructure market.
