Azerbaijan Defense Minister Holds Bilateral Talks at ADEX 2026

Azerbaijan Minister of Defense Zakir Hasanov conducted a series of bilateral meetings from September 29 to September 30 during the 6th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX 2026) at the Baku Expo Center. The talks focused on advancing military-technical cooperation and integrating next-generation technologies into defense sectors.

On September 29, Hasanov met with Dmitry Pantus, the Belarusian Minister of the State Authority for Military Industry, to discuss professional experience exchange and mutual defense interests. During the same period, Hasanov hosted a Sudanese delegation led by Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Hassan Daoud Kabron Kayan to explore similar military-technical prospects.

The diplomatic activity continued on September 30 with a meeting between Hasanov and Mohamed Bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, the UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs. The two officials discussed the current state of defense ties, the potential for joint military exercises, and the necessity of intergovernmental dialogue regarding security.
