DoorDash Opens First India Office in Hyderabad
DoorDash established its first direct corporate office in India with a global capability centre in Hyderabad to support global operations.
DoorDash opened its first direct corporate office in India on September 30, 2026, establishing a global capability centre in Hyderabad's HITEC City. The facility will house general and administrative teams alongside Customer Experience and Integrity (CXI) operations. This hub is one of only three company-owned CXI centres globally, with the others located in Tempe, Arizona, and Mexico City.
The company is launching the office with approximately 500 employees and intends to scale the workforce to more than 3,000 over the next two years. While DoorDash previously maintained software and analytics operations in Pune following the 2021 acquisition of Chowbotics, the Hyderabad facility marks its first independent corporate entry into the Indian market.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu described the move as a strong addition to the local hyperlocal digital commerce ecosystem. The expansion aligns with a broader strategy by the Government of Telangana to attract over 100 additional global capability centres to create high-value employment opportunities.
