Whole Foods Market to Open Second Montana Store in Missoula
Whole Foods Market will anchor the Midtown Commons Project in Missoula, Montana, with a new store scheduled to open in April 2028.
Whole Foods Market will open its second Montana location in Missoula as the primary tenant of the Midtown Commons Project. The store will be constructed at 3333 Brooks Street, the former site of the Brooks Street Motor Inn, near Southgate Mall.
The city-led development, also referred to as Midtown Market, will feature a mix of commercial spaces, restaurants, services, and housing units, including apartments and multi-unit complexes. The project also includes a 1.3-acre public park intended to bring retail improvements to the Midtown Commerce area.
Construction is currently in its first phase, and the development is expected to open in April 2028. This expansion follows the company's existing presence in Bozeman and reflects a broader trend of national retailers entering the Missoula market as the community grows.
