JPMorgan Chase to Maintain Asia Pacific Hiring Through 2027

JPMorgan Chase will continue its current hiring pace in Asia Pacific through 2027 following 20% growth in regional corporate banking revenue.

JPMorgan Chase will maintain its current hiring pace in the Asia Pacific region through 2027, following significant growth in its corporate banking business. Regional executives reported that corporate bank revenue in the region grew by more than 20% year-to-date, driven by Asian companies expanding internationally and increased investment in supply chains, data centers, and artificial intelligence.

The bank is nearly finished with a 15% increase in corporate banking staff for 2026, which follows a 20% expansion in 2025. Growth has been particularly strong in Taiwan, South Korea, China, and Australia, while Southeast Asia has seen gains exceeding 20%. Malaysia has specifically benefited from AI-related foreign investment, and Singapore continues to serve as a regional hub.

To support rising intra-Asian trade, the bank is increasing capital allocations toward trade and working capital finance. Regional leadership noted that the market remains active, with a high volume of inquiries regarding GPU and data center financing.
