General Electric Wins $2.87 Billion Navy Engine Contract

General Electric Co. received a $2.87 billion sole-source contract from the U.S. Department of War to provide logistics support for F414 engine components. These components are used in the Navy’s F/A-18 E/F/G aircraft.

The five-year performance-based logistics contract covers 17 specific engine components and is expected to be completed by August 2031. The work will be executed primarily in Lynn, Massachusetts, with a smaller portion taking place in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia served as the contracting activity for the award, managing the process under contract number N00383-26-D-UA01.
