Palantir Revenue Surges 96 Percent in Third Quarter
Palantir Technologies reported a 96 percent revenue increase to 2.31 billion dollars despite a 16 percent drop in stock price from its lifetime high.
Palantir Technologies reported strong third-quarter financial results, with revenue increasing 96 percent year-over-year to 2.31 billion dollars and net income surging 137 percent to approximately 1.13 billion dollars.
Despite these financial gains, the company's stock price has fallen 16 percent from the lifetime high it reached last month and is down roughly 1 percent year-to-date. This decline stems from investor concerns regarding slower international expansion, slowing growth in commercial contract values, and general bearish pressure on artificial intelligence stocks.
For the current quarter, the company provided sales guidance between 2.649 billion and 2.653 billion dollars, with projected non-GAAP adjusted operating income between 1.64 billion and 1.644 billion dollars. While the company has a history of surpassing Wall Street estimates, it remains susceptible to macroeconomic risks including elevated bond yields and high inflation.
