US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor conducted a series of high-level diplomatic and industry engagements across India on August 7, 2026, to strengthen bilateral ties in technology and manufacturing. In New Delhi, Gor met with representatives from Rolls-Royce and Assistant Secretary of State Wesley R. Brooks to discuss aerospace innovation and space partnerships. These meetings included a roundtable hosted by the US-India Business Council focusing on critical minerals recycling and recovery to secure strategic supply chains for both nations.

He highlighted the strategic importance of the US-led Pax Silica supply chain initiative and noted that Karnataka currently hosts more than 1,000 American companies. During the visit, Gor also met with Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to discuss regional investment and innovation.
