Joules to Open Four UK Stores After Administration Recovery

Joules will open four new stores across the United Kingdom between October 2026 and Spring 2027. The expansion marks a shift in strategy for the fashion retailer, which previously underwent a period of significant contraction after entering administration in November 2022 due to weak consumer demand and rising costs.

The company was rescued through a £34 million deal involving founder Tom Joule and Next. Following that takeover, the retailer reduced its total store count from 132 to 53. This new growth phase includes a store in Northallerton opening October 23, 2026, and a Harrogate location opening November 24, 2026.

Additional expansions include a store at the Caledonia Park Designer Outlet in Gretna by the end of 2026 and a location at Festival Place in Basingstoke scheduled for Spring 2027.
