Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman Accepts Saudi Arabia Visit Invitation

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman accepted an official invitation from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to visit Saudi Arabia following a meeting in Dhaka with the Saudi Arabian Ambassador. The visit aims to establish strategic cooperation and unlock economic opportunities, with a specific focus on increasing trade and investment from both the public and private sectors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir noted that this progress results from the new Bangladeshi government's proactive regional outreach over the last four months to establish ties across the Middle East. By prioritizing these diplomatic channels, the administration seeks to stabilize its international standing and secure long-term investment commitments from Gulf states to support domestic growth.
