Vox Royalty Acquires 2% Royalty for White Dam Gold Mine
Vox Royalty Corp. agreed to pay A$5 million for a 2% net smelter return royalty on the White Dam gold mine in South Australia.
Vox Royalty Corp. entered into a binding agreement to acquire a 2.0% net smelter return royalty over the White Dam gold mine in South Australia. The acquisition, executed through its subsidiary Vox Royalty Australia Pty Ltd, involves an up-front cash payment of A$5 million to an unnamed Australian mining company. The uncapped royalty applies to both gold and copper for the full life of the tenements.
Broken Hill Gold Limited operates the White Dam project, having recommissioned the heap-leach operation and poured its first gold in April 2026. The mine targets annual production between 15,000 and 20,000 ounces of gold. In July 2026, Broken Hill Gold reported a high-grade gold and copper sulphide discovery at White Dam North, which led to the initiation of a 25,000-metre drilling program.
Spencer Cole, President and Chief Investment Officer of Vox, stated that the acquisition expands the company's Australian royalty portfolio. He noted that while the results from White Dam North are early-stage and require further work, they provide meaningful exploration optionality at no incremental cost to the company. The transaction is expected to close within five business days of satisfying customary conditions.
