CSB Bank Reports 27 Percent Net Profit Growth for Q1 FY27
CSB Bank reported a standalone net profit of ₹150 crore for the April-June quarter, driven by strong growth in deposits and net interest income.
CSB Bank reported a standalone net profit of ₹150 crore for the April-June quarter of FY27, representing a 27% increase from the ₹119 crore earned during the same period last year. The growth was supported by a 26.2% rise in net interest income to ₹479 crore and a 19.3% reduction in provisions and contingencies.
Business expansion was marked by a 26% increase in total deposits to ₹45,415 crore and a 24% rise in net advances to ₹40,309 crore, with gold loans and wholesale advances serving as primary drivers. Asset quality showed improvement, as net non-performing assets fell to 0.39%, while gross non-performing assets were 1.75% as of June 30, 2026.
Managing Director and CEO Pralay Mondal stated that the bank is continuing to pursue its SBS 2030 strategic vision. He noted that the growth in deposits and advances remained significantly higher than industry averages.
