Navitas and NVIDIA Develop 24 kW AI Power Board

Navitas Semiconductor and NVIDIA created a high-efficiency 24 kW power delivery board to reduce energy loss in AI infrastructure.

Navitas Semiconductor and NVIDIA collaborated to develop a next-generation 24 kW power delivery board designed for AI infrastructure. The board converts 800 VDC directly to 12 VDC in a single stage, removing the traditional 50 V intermediate-bus conversion stage to increase system efficiency and reduce board space.

Utilizing GaNFast FETs, the board targets 97% efficiency at full load with a power density exceeding 2,000 W/in³. The solution fits NVIDIA's 400 mm × 60 mm form factor, allowing placement closer to xPUs to minimize power losses. This project follows a previous joint effort to create a 20 kW, 800 V-to-6 V power delivery board.

Navitas CEO Chris Allexandre stated the collaboration is breaking the AI infrastructure power wall by reimagining power delivery from 800 VDC to the GPU. The new 24 kW solution will be showcased at the OCP Global Summit 2026 in the NVIDIA AI Factory MGX Ecosystem partner display area.
