Gilgowrie Farming Property Listed for Sale in New South Wales
Miller & James Real Estate has listed the 394-hectare Gilgowrie farming property in central west New South Wales for approximately $3,000 per acre.
Miller & James Real Estate has placed the Gilgowrie farming property, a 394-hectare broadacre operation in central west New South Wales, on the market. The property is located 10km northwest of Quandialla and 70km northwest of Young. Potential buyers can purchase the land as a single entity or in two blocks: a 287-hectare main block and a 107-hectare holding called Gilgowrie South.
The land features soft clay soils with an average annual rainfall of 520mm and currently supports a barley crop. Infrastructure on the main block includes a two-bedroom cottage, a two-stand shearing shed, three machinery sheds, a workshop, and three silos.
Marketing agent Angus McLaren noted that the Quandialla locality is "well known for its consistent seasons and represents much better value than cropping country further to the east." The agency has set a price guide of approximately $3,000 per acre, with expressions of interest closing on September 16.
