BJP Core Committee Meets to Strategize Uttarakhand Assembly Elections

The Bharatiya Janata Party convened a meeting of its Uttarakhand Core Committee at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Wednesday evening. The session focused on reviewing preparations for the upcoming Uttarakhand Assembly elections, specifically targeting electoral strategy, booth-level organizational strengthening, and the evaluation of current campaigns.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, state BJP president Mahendra Bhatt, national president Nitin Nabin, and National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santosh attended the meeting. The gathering comes as the BJP-led government, which currently holds 47 of 70 seats, seeks a third consecutive term in the assembly.

This strategic planning follows a period of mixed electoral performance for the party in other regions. The BJP recently faced losses in Bankipur, Bihar, and Datia, Madhya Pradesh, though it secured a significant victory in Majalpur, Gujarat.
