Twitch CEO Urges Game Firms to Avoid GTA VI Window

Dan Clancy, the Chief Executive Officer of Twitch, advised video game companies to avoid competing for gamer attention during the release window of Grand Theft Auto VI. Speaking at the Tokyo Game Show, Clancy stated that the title from Rockstar Games Inc. will likely dominate the holiday season and maintain a "frenzy" through January.

The game is scheduled for release on November 19 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series platforms. Industry expectations suggest the title will be the largest debut in the history of the video game industry.
