Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Meets Union Minister in Delhi

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy led a delegation including Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy and Vivek Venkataswamy to meet Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil in New Delhi on September 28, 2026. The meeting focused on state matters and coordination with the central government.

During a separate conclave titled "India's Next Chapter" held on September 27, Reddy analyzed the political climate of Telangana. He asserted that the Congress party dominates mainstream politics, while the ABVP maintains influence primarily within student politics. He explicitly stated that "The BJP does not hold much significance in Telangana."

Reddy also recounted his political evolution from an independent ZPTC member and MLC to his time with the Telugu Desam Party and his eventual move to the Congress party in 2017. He described the period following state bifurcation as a personal conflict with KCR, noting that the former BRS government imprisoned him on multiple occasions.
