Enterprise Products Partners Hits 28 Years of Distribution Growth

Enterprise Products Partners returned $65 billion to investors over 28 years and is investing $6.5 billion in new energy infrastructure projects.

Enterprise Products Partners has achieved 28 consecutive years of distribution growth, returning a total of $65 billion to investors through unit repurchases and distributions. The energy midstream company reported a 21% increase in operational distributable cash flow to $2.3 billion for the second quarter, currently offering a 5.9% yield.

To sustain this growth, the company is executing $6.5 billion in capital projects. These initiatives include the construction of natural gas processing plants in the Permian Basin and the expansion of LPG export capacity, with commercial service expected by the first quarter of 2029. The company anticipates that liquefied natural gas exports and AI data centers will drive increased U.S. natural gas demand through 2030.

Recent strategic acquisitions have further expanded the company's footprint. These include the $950 million purchase of Pinon Midstream in 2024 to increase sour gas treating capacity and a $580 million acquisition of a natural gas gathering affiliate from Occidental Petroleum.
