The Turkish Statistical Institute reported Thursday that Türkiye's economic confidence index rose 0.9% month-on-month to 99.8 in July. The figure increased from 98.9 in June, though it remains slightly below the 100-point threshold used to distinguish an optimistic economic outlook from a pessimistic one.
Sector-specific data revealed mixed results. Consumer confidence grew 2.2% to 89.8, services confidence increased 1.4% to 112, and construction confidence rose 0.6% to 83.5. In contrast, the real sector confidence index for the manufacturing industry dropped 0.8% to 101.2, and the retail trade confidence index fell 1.6% to 111.
