Tenneco Clean Air India Revenue Rises 20% in First Quarter

Tenneco Clean Air India reported a 20.2% increase in first-quarter revenue despite a 1.7% dip in consolidated profit due to rising expenses.

Tenneco Clean Air India reported a 20.2% increase in revenue from operations for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, totaling ₹15,447.53 crore. Despite the revenue growth, consolidated profit attributable to the owners of the parent fell 1.7% year-on-year to ₹1,650.40 crore.

The profit decline resulted from total expenses rising to ₹13,340.11 crore, which the company attributed primarily to higher costs for employees and raw materials. CEO Arvind Chandra noted that the company gained market share across key product segments and delivered strong double-digit value-added revenue growth.

The company secured new program nominations for commercial and passenger vehicles, including its first spark plug order from a domestic passenger vehicle manufacturer. Additionally, Tenneco Clean Air India received export orders from a European ATV manufacturer and Tenneco America.
