Bharti Airtel Raises Postpaid Tariffs and Adds Free Roaming

Bharti Airtel will increase its postpaid tariffs by ₹50 and introduce a complimentary annual international roaming benefit for all postpaid plans effective October 8, 2026. The updated pricing structure ranges from ₹499 for individual users to ₹1,799 for five-person family plans. Existing subscribers will be transitioned to the nearest higher plan within one month.

The new free roaming pack, valued at ₹2,000, provides 5GB of data, 60 minutes of calls, and 25 outgoing SMS for five days per year. This strategic shift follows a similar move by Vodafone Idea, which offers up to three free international trips annually on select plans.

Beyond roaming, the revamped offerings include 5G Fast Lane technology, spam protection, and entertainment subscriptions to services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Apple Music, depending on the plan tier. The company aims to provide a best-in-class experience and higher value to its customer base through these integrated services.
