Yogi Adityanath Honors Bhagat Singh on 119th Birth Anniversary

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to revolutionary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh on September 28, 2026, to mark his 119th birth anniversary. In a statement shared on X, Adityanath called on citizens and the youth to draw inspiration from Singh's patriotism and courage to help build a knowledgeable, value-driven, and capable Uttar Pradesh.

Adityanath specifically urged the youth to use this inspiration to overcome social evils, including addiction and casteism. He emphasized the importance of linking education and skill development to the overall development of the state.

In a separate event, Delhi Assembly Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht paid floral tributes to both Bhagat Singh and Vithalbhai Jhaverbhai Patel on their birth anniversaries. Bisht highlighted Singh's historical association with the Central Legislative Assembly during his tributes.
