City of Parramatta Seeks Feedback on Doyle Ground Upgrades

The City of Parramatta is seeking community feedback on Stage 2 upgrades for the Doyle Ground sporting precinct in North Parramatta. The proposed project involves replacing the existing sports pavilion with a larger, modern building, expanding cricket practice facilities, and improving overall amenities and accessible parking. Additionally, the plan includes a landscaped forecourt featuring new seating, garden beds, and enhanced pedestrian connections.

Lord Mayor Martin Zaiter stated that these improvements align with the council's long-term Heart of Play Master Plan. He noted that the upgrades are intended to ensure facilities keep pace with the needs of local residents and clubs. The city expects construction to begin in late 2026, and the window for public submissions remains open until August 3, 2026.
