DHS Reports 3 Million Illegal Aliens Left United States

The Department of Homeland Security announced that more than 3 million illegal aliens departed the United States during the first year of the Trump administration's immigration crackdown. This figure includes over 985,000 formal deportations and approximately 2.2 million self-deportations.

As part of these efforts, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested five individuals convicted of violent crimes, including fentanyl trafficking, voluntary manslaughter, and aggravated assault. These arrests took place across sanctuary cities in California, North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Illinois.

Secretary Markwayne Mullin stated that these actions remove dangerous criminals from communities and contribute to historic lows in crime rates. However, the department also reported a sharp increase in hostilities toward immigration officers, noting a 1,300 percent rise in assaults and an 8,000 percent increase in death threats.
