Bhajanlal Sharma Launches Rs 1,117 Crore Projects Across Rajasthan

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects totaling approximately Rs 1,117 crore across the Bharatpur and Alwar districts on September 28. In the Bharatpur division, Sharma launched nearly Rs 1,000 crore in initiatives spanning Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, and Sawai Madhopur. These include 184 new projects and 65 completed works, featuring a trauma centre and MCH hospital in Bharatpur, alongside power and road infrastructure upgrades.

Continuing his tour in Khairthal, Alwar district, Sharma inaugurated an additional Rs 117 crore in projects, including the Neemrana Dam under the ERCP and a 45-meter-wide master plan road. During this event, he pledged to provide free electricity to farmers by 2027 and criticized the Indian National Congress for its "politics of plunder and lies," alleging the party had planned to scrap an inter-state water agreement with Haryana.

Union Minister Bhupender Yadav attended the Khairthal event, where he highlighted the Bharatiya Janata Party's success in local body elections and committed to resolving sewage issues in Bhiwadi by early 2027. The Bharatpur visit was part of the Viksit Bharat-Jan Seva Abhiyan, a campaign designed to connect citizens with government schemes and resolve public grievances through Seva Setu Abhiyan camps.
